Oklahoma has some of the best fairs during the spring time! One of the longest running spring fairs in Oklahoma is the Medieval Fair of Norman. This year's fair will take place April 4-6 at Reaves Park in Norman, Oklahoma.

Since 1977, Oklahomans have been able to enjoy weekend of medieval educational exhibits, arts, crafts, food, games, demonstrations and entertainment. The Medieval Fair of Norman is the state's largest single-weekend event and the third largest event in Oklahoma, and is hosted by the Medieval Fair Department within the University of Oklahoma's Outreach/College of Continuing Education.

This year's Medieval Fair of Norman will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6. The fair's program, plus a full list of vendors and the fair's entertainment schedule can be found on the fair's official website. Admission to the fair is free and parking is available nearby for $10 and is managed by OU Athletics.

The Medieval Fair of Norman will go on despite rainy Oklahoma weather.

Oklahoma will soon enter into a wet pattern! More severe weather is expected Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with rain on Saturday - all during the Medieval Fair of Norman! But according to the Medieval Fair of Norman's official Facebook page, the fair will go on despite the rain. Although, if there are dangerous conditions, like hail or lightening, the fair will temporarily close and reopen once it's safe.

Oklahomans shouldn't let a little rain stop them from enjoying the Medieval Fair of Norman! The fair stated on its Facebook page that "rain-soaked days at the Medieval Fair can transform into some of the most magical experiences of all!"

For updates on the Medieval Fair of Norman, be sure to follow the fair on Facebook.
