Earlier this year in Oklahoma, people were seeing more and more drone shows take over city celebrations for the Fourth of July. Although there aren't as many happening for Christmas this year, there is still one on the books that will make your holiday light shows even more special.

Are Drone Shows Popular in Oklahoma?

Last year, Oklahoma held one of the coolest light shows in Enid, Oklahoma. What used to be the tallest Christmas tree in America sits in the southeast area of town.

All 120 foot of tree is decorated in lights and Christmas decor. Combine the tree's massive height with thousands of drones and you've got a lighted picture show unlike any other.

This year, Enid isn't hosting a drone show, but the idea to host one didn't stop a different town from doing a similar thing. This year, there will be an impressive show by Dynamic Skies in Downtown Crescent to help kickstart the Christmas season.

Christmas in Crescent: The Magic of Christmas

The show will kick off on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7:00 p.m. The show comes as part of their annual event. On that day, they'll be hosting a variety of events all day long, themed "The Magic of Christmas." Not only will they have the drone show, but they'll have Santa, food trucks, plenty of shopping opportunities, face painting and even a tree lighting.

The big Magic of Christmas event is free and open to the public in Downtown Crescent. Festivities start at noon that day and run until 10:00 p.m. To find out specific details of events, you'll want to follow the Christmas in Crescent Facebook page.
