Lookout folks, it's about to get real western here in Oklahoma. Where else can you see Santa, the Grinch and a western gunfight all in the same night? One of the most western venues in southwest Oklahoma is offering a true country Christmas experience during the weekend this month.

Cowboy Town Christmas Kicks Off December 14, 2024

Starting Dec. 14, Cowboy Town in Andarko, Oklahoma is hosting a barrage of Christmas themed events. Starting at 6 p.m.on each night of the Cowboy Town Christmas, the park opens and visitors will have access to nearly everything the park has to offer. They'll have their petting zoo, giant slide, bounce house, 4-person pole swing, zip line and mechanical bull; the list goes on.

At 7 p.m., the park's main event kicks off. They'll start their Christmas tree lighting, which  is immediately followed by the Grinch Show with a Gunfight (no real bullets, of course). Once the fight is over, the nativity train, barrel train, horse rides, and general store open for business.

Limited Tickets Available For The Cowboy Town Christmas

Everything is open and going until 9 p.m. each night. The "Hallmark experience" happens Dec. 14, Dec. 15, Dec. 21 and Dec. 22 this year. Tickets are required for the Cowboy Town Christmas experience and can be purchased here.

Cowboy Town is usually one of the only western themed venues in the state. Whenever thye're open throughout the year, they host various themed events and movie nights.

But all of the time, you can ride real horses, love on some adorable farm animals and get some incredible gifts and novelty items in the General Store.
