The Most Intense Oklahoma Mudding Events You Won’t Forget

Festivals in Oklahoma don't just revolve around food or music. And things get a lot more fun when you don't have to worry about getting dirty! Where better to be than one of Oklahoma's top three most intense mudding events this spring. Fair warning: when you attend your first one, just be prepared to become completely addicted to the most fun you've seen and had in forever.

Mudding is somewhat of a staple activity in Oklahoma. Rather than waiting for things to dry after it rains, we like to play in the mud with some of our fanciest toys like dirt bikes, four wheelers, lifted trucks and more. It's also one of the best ways to teach anyone how to navigate the slick red dirt and keep from getting stuck (though getting stuck can be part of the fun).

These next events are perfect for both racers and spectators. Be prepared to get dirty and have the most fun in the sun.

SXSUSA Presents The Spring Hoedown - Davis, Oklahoma

Every spring since 2022, Cross Bar Off Road Park hosts one of the wildest mudding events in Oklahoma. The Spring Hoedown is perfect for every country adrenaline junky who wants to see the thrill of the fastest vehicle navigating some of the deepest and dirtiest pits in Oklahoma.

The four day event has three different races for drivers to try:

• The Mud Bounty
• Sand Drag Racing
• Rock Bounty Racing

They'll also have concerts on 2 main stages, vendors, food trucks, games and every opportunity to party the weekend away. Their main event tent will be the hotspot, with a mechanical bull, lasers, DJ dance parties and so much more.

Oklahoma Mudding Maddness - Wanette, Oklahoma

This year is the first year that SlapNasty Entertainment is hosting their own mudding festival at the Madden Crew Private Offroad Park. They'll also have their own Bounty Hole races for side by sides and mega trucks, as well as a tug of war and drag races.

Mudding Madness will also have a stellar lineup of musicians and artists performing like Outlaw Nation, Trainwreck Kenny, Leebo and Lawton's own: Knuckles.
