It's already stressful enough during this time in Oklahoma with all the hassle of getting gifts, decor and other items for the holidays. That last thing you'd want to happen is to ge to the post office - ready to ship something - when you find out that you won't be able to send your gift in the mail. In Oklahoma, there are a few things that the postal service explicitly states on their website that you cannot include in the mail.
Why Can't You Ship These Items In The Mail?
In most cases, these items pose some sort of risk to the people transporting the mail. Whether that be exposure to a toxin, a fire hazard while being flown on the airplane, or linked to illegal activity, they have a specific reason for limiting these things.
Yes, You Can Ship Live Animals
I did find it weird that live animals ended up on this list, since ordering baby chicks is a thing here in Oklahoma. But actually, the exception to the rule is the day-old poultry, like ducks, turkey, chicks and other qualifying birds. Anything older cannot be shipped in the mail.

Appearances Aren't Everything
Althogh nail polish or linseed oil may seem totally harmless, but they're actually very flammable. They have to be packaged with extra precautions when they're being mailed and only by ground shipping, no express shipping or priority options are available.
Not everything on the list is entirely prohibited, just restricted to only certain people being allowed to ship these items. Likewise, not all of these items will earn you jail time for shipping them, but they all can have dire consquences for folks involved with shipping.
