The happy, humble medium sized metropolis of South Park will be facing a pandemic of truly epic and hilarious proportions. The all new South Park "Pandemic Special" will air Wednesday, September 30th 2020 (09-30-20) at 7:00pm CST on Comedy Central.

The quick turnaround of South Park episodes famously enabled Matt Stone and Trey Parker to address the 2008 election “About Last Night … ,” as well in 2012 basing an episode off Obama’s re-election. Seasons 19 and 20 have gone even deeper into the political process, though the first promo for “The Very First Gentleman” seems to predict the race has come to an end.

South Park will begin its landmark 20th season later tonight, continuing a satirical run that has seen a number of changes and controversies over years. One famous fallout saw South Park tangling with Scientology and seemingly losing its Chef, Isaac Hayes, before his death in 2008, though a new history sees creators and Hayes’ family explaining the notable exit.

It’s hard to believe South Park will kick off its 20th year as early as this Wednesday, and given the famous six-day turnaround, our first details only now arrive. South Park will “Member Berries” by rebooting the national anthem in this week’s season premiere, the first clip of which you can watch right now.

Another brilliant skit from Key and Peele. Hard to believe the show won't go on! Sadly after this season the Key and Peele show will no longer be on Comedy Central. The Daily Show and Comedy Central have announced that, after a long search with many rumored candidates, Trevor Noah will succeed the retiring Jon Stewart as the host of the late night program. Noah, a 31-year-old stand-up comedian, has served as a correspondent for the show but, so far, has only made three appearances.
