Just when you thought the latest 'Friday the 13th' reboot news had beaten a dead horse into dust, TV is hockey-masking up for a few shots, as well. 'Friday the 13th' is officially moving forward with a new hourlong TV series set across "multiple time periods," with 'Terminator' and 'Avatar' writers on board to bring Jason Voorhees to life once more.

No, we're not talking about Iron Maiden this time! Flight 666 to HEL on Friday the 13th sounds more like a PSA from Billy Graham warning us of the end of days, but this is just another casual flight in the humdrum day of all pilots airborne travelers. Or is it?

Audiences got their first taste of the 'Friday the 13th' franchise, which is now 12 films strong, when the original horror flick hit theaters in 1980. The tale of gruesome happenings at Camp Crystal Lake didn't do much for critics, but audiences ate up its grindhouse-style gore.
