But if you were expecting our first really good look at this guy to come from another trailer, you were wrong. This is the year 2015. These kinds of things get revealed in toy form these days.

Your Christmas gift from ‘Jurassic World’ has arrived early. Previously, the first trailer for the upcoming sequel had teased a moment near the end in which Chris Pratt’s character appeared to be teaming up with the super lethal velociraptors to take down the super-smart hybrid dinosaur wreaking havoc in the world’s most ill-advised theme park. And now director Colin Trevorrow has revealed this pretty rad new photo of Pratt hanging tough with one of his raptor pals.

Much was made about how the ‘Avengers 2' trailer broke online viewing records for 2014, shattering the previous record by ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’. But, records were made to be broken and it took just over a month for the ‘Avengers 2’ trailer to be surpassed, not surprisingly by the ‘Star Wars: Episode 7’ trailer, which, if it keeps up at its current pace, could set the all-time record for trailer views.

Released in 1993, ‘Jurassic Park’ is still one of the biggest movies of all-time and one of the best action-adventure movies of the blockbuster era. How is it that the visual effects in a movie from 1993 look better than most movies made today? While the previous ‘Jurassic Park’ films dealt with the folly of John Hammond’s original plans for the park, this new film imagines a world where Jurassic Park is now up and running. The kinks have been worked out. Raptors are trained. But, people are still people and that means they do really stupid things. Like create massive “hybrid” dinosaurs to goose attendance at their park.

A few days ago, the YouTube page for Universal Spain posted memorable footage of the cup of water vibrating from ‘Jurassic Park’ as a teaser for ‘Jurassic World,’ which seemed pretty curious. But today brings our first official footage from ‘Jurassic World’ in the form of a far more awesome teaser for the trailer, which will hit the web on Thanksgiving day. If that’s not something to be thankful for, what is?

At a glance, MasraniGlobal.com looks like any other website for a boring technology company, with details on its founder, Sanjay Masrani, his son and successor Simon, and their financial interests in construction, engineering, real estate, health care, and dinosaur theme parks. On second thought, perhaps that last part is a clue that Masrani Global doesn’t exist, except as a fictional company in the story of ‘Jurassic World,’ next summer’s sequel to Steven Spielberg’s ’90s dinosaur classic.

Vincent D'Onofrio may be most widely recognized as the detective with some unorthodox techniques on 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent,' but he's ready to branch out into more sinister roles in playing the Kingpin in Marvel's 'Daredevil' Netflix series and, reportedly, a villain in 'Jurassic Park 4.' As the actor reminded me, he was known for his many bad-guy characters in his earlier career (for one, see 'Men in Black'), though newer generations will become acclimated with his darker side.

It's crazy to think that production on 'Jurassic Park 4' is officially wrapped, considering the idea seemed like a faint glimmer in the eye of Steven Spielberg when he announced its development a few years ago, but director Colin Trevorrow's latest update from the set makes it official. Now it's time for post-production!
