We finally got to see the epic showdown we've all been waiting decades for. A colossal battle between two heavyweights in a no holds barred fight to the finish. This one was for the fans and it delivered on every level! If you're a Godzilla fan, King Kong fan or both, you have to see "Godzilla Vs. Kong." It was released yesterday (03-31-21) on HBO Max and in theaters. I've waited for what seems like forever to see this and I have to say I loved the movie and in my opinion it's the absolute best film from the MonsterVerse franchise.

I was all looking forward to seeing Godzilla Vs. Kong this November, but once again the release date has been pushed back by the studio. Originally it was going to be out in March of this year, then it was moved to November 20th and now it's been moved to all the way to May 21st 2021. We can all thank the COVID-19 pandemic for this.
At Comic-Con this year, one of the biggest surprise announcements came at the end of the Legendary panel when a mysterious teaser trailer revealed the upcoming 'King Kong' prequel, 'Skull Island'. The teaser did what it set out to do, teasing the audience with the announcement of a new movie they previously knew nothing about. Well, today we know a little bit more about 'Skull Island,' specifically who could be directing it.
