Cycling enthusiasts from across Oklahoma will be descending on Medicine Park this weekend for the second annual Basecamp Adventure Outfitters F5 Mountain Bike Endurance Race.
Medicine Park has plans to pay tribute to our troops this weekend with their latest concert event and a fun run dedicated to those that serve and protect, and to help those fighting the fight against cancer.
On Saturday, May 6th, you can take a Ride To Remember benefiting the Alzheimer's Foundation, by joining the Ride To Remember Poker Run, kicking of at Wind River Harley Davidson in Lawton. Registration starts at 9:30 Saturday morning, with the first bikes pulling out of Wind River at 10 am.
From music to Volkswagons, its going to be a very busy weekend in Medicine Park, as Friday kicks off celebrations of music and classic cars, with the return of Parkstomp and V-Dubs In The Park to the town by the Medicine Creek.
The usually intimidating thought of taking a dive into Medicine Creek during the first week of February isn't as daunting this year, but the 18th annual Medicine Park Polar Plunge is set to go off once again this Saturday.
With fall finally upon us, it can only mean it's time for southwest Oklahoma's most relaxing music festival of the season, as Native American flute players from across the country converge on Medicine Park.
