Earlier this week on Tuesday (12-08-20) Mayor Stan Booker along with several community leaders and the Lawton City Council signed a proclamation and pledge declaring today (12-11-20) officially "Healthcare Heroes Day" in Lawton, Fort Sill.

The City of Lawton is planning to thank, recognize and honor all of our healthcare professionals tomorrow afternoon (12-08-20) at the City Council meeting at 2:00pm CST. Mayor Stan Booker and community leaders will be signing a special "Healthcare Heroes" proclamation and pledge.

Gallup just released the results of its annual survey investigating Americans' opinions on the trustworthiness of certain professions. In one notable surprise, members of the clergy saw their favorable rating drop below 50 percent for the first time.
