One thing that certainly doesn’t suck about conducting interviews on a private tropical island is that the scenery is pretty nice. Thank you ShipRocked! Black Stone Cherry drummer John Fred Young and bassist Jon Lawhon joined us in paradise to talk about their upcoming disc ‘Magic Mountain.’

Tremonti may have started out as a solo project for Mark Tremonti with the goal of collecting his musical ideas outside of Alter Bridge and Creed, but now Tremonti is a full-fledged band with Eric Friedman on rhythm guitar, Garrett Whitlock on drums and Wolfgang Van Halen on bass.

To see Living Colour live for any rock fan is to witness the infusion of so many musical genres combined together. Their techniques and approach to music had both fans and bands in awe when they performed on ShipRocked 2014.

Love and Death rocked both big and small stages during ShipRocked 2014 and when you see the guys onstage, it’s easy to see that they like to have a whole lot of fun. When we sat down with the wisecracking members during the cruise, it was a blast from start to finish.

In This Moment are no strangers to ShipRocked, and this year they performed two stellar sets on the Deck Stage and the Stardust Theater. We had the chance to sit down with guitarist Chris Howorth on the Norwegian Pearl as we made our way back to Florida during a full day at sea.

Anyone on this year’s ShipRocked cruise knows that Five Finger Death Punch could have completely powered the boat themselves with a pair of electric performances. The band was the very first to rock the boat on the first day as they hit the Deck stage as the Norwegian Pearl left Miami. Canadian rockers Art of Dying christened their maiden voyage on 2014's ShipRocked cruise with a few bucket list moments, including a sweaty set on the private beach of Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.

No one can ever accuse Mark Tremonti of being an underachiever, as the guitarist has always had a full plate juggling two successful bands in Alter Bridge and Creed. However, back in 2012, he took things to a whole new level releasing the debut album ‘All I Was,’ from his self titled project, Tremonti, which saw him adding the role of frontman to his resume.

As if Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace and several other top rock and metal acts weren’t enough, Tremonti and Black Stone Cherry have been added to the bill of this year’s ShipRocked cruise.

ShipRocked 2014 have added a few late additions to the lineup for their upcoming cruise and organizers have announced that all of the cabins for this year's voyage have sold out.
