Recently Walmart started issuing citations and involving authorities when customers make mistakes or attempt to shoplift items while using their self-checkout lines. The crackdown is due to all the unpaid merchandise that is leaving the store by customers using self-checkout and not paying for their purchase.

This female shoplifter gets the surprise of her life. After video surveillance catches her  stealing, store employees rush to stop her from leaving. But not in the typical way. The end up giving her a parade for being the 10,000 shoplifter! She even gets flowers, party hat and free food. I think after this humiliation she's hopefully learned her lesson.

Stage moms aren't the only ones who use their kids to try and rake in some cash.
