Gritty fairy tale re-imaginings for everyone! With 'Once Upon A Time' due to begin its third season in the coming weeks, spinning off into 'Once Upon A Time in Wonderland' shortly thereafter, ABC has put its stock in developing limited series 'Esmeralda,' a re-imagining of the classic 'Hunchback of Notre Dame' tale in the vain of Chris Hemsworth-Kristen Stewart thriller 'Snow White and the Huntsma

Apparently it takes three films to tell the story of Snow White, so not only is 'Snow White and the Huntsman' getting a sequel, it might also getting a third installment to make it a complete trilogy.

Universal has announced they're making a sequel to 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' which means that either the first film was a sneaky success, or that studios are desperate for sequels. Regardless, the 2012 fantasy film's sequel is officially on the way, with plans to release it in 2015.

The first full-length trailer for ‘Mirror, Mirror’ — one of two Snow White adaptations scheduled for big screen release in 2012 — hit the web Wednesday. The movie stars Lily Collins (daughter of Phil Collins) as Snow White and Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen. If the trailer is any indication, ‘Mirror, Mirror’ has a farcical ‘Princess Bride’-like tone to it.

Snow White is suddenly popular again. Fairy tale fans have ‘Once Upon A Time’ on ABC, and now comes the big screen adventure ‘Snow White and the Huntsman.’ Warning to anyone who grew up with the Disney version: this isn’t your daddy’s Snow White.
