A new study found the 3 most popular states Oklahomans are moving to. For many the cost of living, employment opportunities, quality of life, and crime rates were the primary reasons for wanting to make a move.

According to recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the national median household income level ($50,502) diminished for the second year in a row, falling to 8 percent below what it was before the economic downturn in 2007. This decrease was felt across the board, even in the country’s wealthiest areas.

While taxes are a way of life not all tax systems have been developed equally, according to the 2013 State Business Tax Climate Index by the Tax Foundation. The Foundation’s latest report was released today, ranking the states most and least friendly to do business in based on factors like individual income tax, sales tax, corporate income tax, property tax and unemployment insurance tax.
