One of my favorite parts of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was Gal Gadot’s costume as Wonder Woman. Not only was it a much-needed splash of color in an otherwise monochrome film, it was also a nice departure from the overly bulky superhero costumes that have become the norm. Ben Affleck might be a great Batman, but there were times when he looked a little bit like Ralphie’s brother in A Christmas Story, too padded up to put his arms down, let alone fight his way through a warehouse of bad guys. Wonder Woman, on the other hand, looked every bit the agile warrior we were hoping for.
There may be less movie panels at Comic-Con 2016 than in any recent year, but Warner Bros. is still bringing several of their upcoming blockbusters to Hall H tomorrow — that includes Wonder Woman, the highly-anticipated solo film starring Batman v Superman scene-stealer Gal Gadot. Ahead of her appearance in San Diego tomorrow, the actress has debuted a brand new poster for her new movie, and it is beautiful.
It feels like Comic-Con has already begun, what with all the new sneak peeks at upcoming movies like Rogue One and The Dark Tower. But how about a fresh look at a new superhero film? Four images from Wonder Woman have debuted online, and as you can see, it looks like Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince is looking for a fight.
It’s been a whirlwind 24 hours for DC fans, what with the full-length Suicide Squad trailer barreling into the public view during its big debut in the CW’s Dawn of the Justice League special last night. But while fans tuned into the hypeathon ...
Last we heard, Warner Bros. hadn’t yet officially given the Wonder Woman solo film the green light, which wasn’t entirely surprising given that a script wasn’t firmly in place. But today brings good news on the Wonder Woman front: shooting will begin this fall for the hero’s upcoming solo adventure, with — as previously confirmed — Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad vet Michelle MacLaren in the director’s chair.
In what is probably the best rumor of the week already, WB has apparently got their collective studio eyes on Michelle MacLaren to direct their upcoming 'Wonder Woman' movie. MacLaren is best known for her work on television, where she's directed some of the most riveting episodes of 'Breaking Bad' and 'Game of Thrones,' so she knows a thing or two about action and what makes for a compelling, complex character.
A late entry for the best Halloween costume of 2014 and it's certainly a winner! A Brazilian babe makes a convincing Wonder Woman and the judges aren't quite sure about her costume. She used body paint, yep shes all skin under there and smokin' hot. It doesn't get any tighter and form fitting than body paint!
So here's some pretty exciting news on top of the already exciting news that Wonder Woman is getting her very own solo film from DC and Warner Bros. A new report reveals plans that Wonder Woman's first solo outing will be set in a time period before the 'Justice League' film -- actually, it'll be set long, long before then. Not only that, but there are ultimately plans for three 'Wonder Woman' films. Three! Your move, Marvel.
What happens in Hall H stays in Hall H ... at least when it comes to 'Batman vs. Superman.'
During Comic-Con 2014, fans at the Warner Bros. panel got to see the first 'Batman vs. Superman' teaser trailer, featuring a suited up Ben Affleck with glowing blue eyes glaring at Henry Cavill's hovering Superman, ready to do battle. However, if fans were hoping to see this same footage online shortly after, you're out of luck.
