Earlier this afternoon Governor Mary Fallin signed into law the 'Open Carry' bill (S.B. 1733) which allows Oklahoma citizens with a valid concealed carry permit the option of carrying their firearm openly or concealed. The new law will go into effect on November 1st 2012

Last week the Oklahoma Senate passed a bill (S.B. 1733) that would allow Oklahomans with a valid concealed weapons permit the option of carrying their firearms either concealed or openly, holstered in public. Governor Mary Fallin (R) is expected to sign the new bill into law by this Thursday (05-17-12).

Makes me sick! Recently a gay teen in Indianapolis, IN. who was a student at Arsenal Technical High School was bullied so bad he felt the need to bring a taser to school to protect himself.
