My husband David and I live on "The Mace Place" and raise cattle for show. We both enjoy the country life but just wish that once in awhile we could get pizza delivery! We have no children unless you count our fur baby Rowdy. He's a red heeler/blue heeler mix and he definitely lives up to his name! Two cats; Tigger and Piglet, that I've had since I started in radio. They are barn cats but still spoiled rotten. They bring the occasional "present" to me and leave it at the back step! (Nice!) Two Canadian guys were out and about when they spotted a Bald Eagle caught in a trap. The guys saw the wounded eagle and moved in on it, removed their jackets, and then wrapped the bird to prevent it from moving. Then, they freed its talon from the trap but not before taking a selfie.

On Saturday, October 10, 2015, Grace Fellowship Church will host its 5th annual Garage Free event. In years past, the event has been held at the church, but due to the incredible response from the community, Grace Fellowship decided to move this year’s event to the Annex at the Comanche County Fairgrounds.
Lawton’s International Festival Set for September 25th, 26th and 27th
The International Festival, a three day event in Elmer Thomas Park, will open 5pm on Friday, September 25. At 5:45pm, the Parade of Nations kicks off the Opening Ceremony on the 2nd Street Stage. There is no attendance fee or parking fee, not even for the stages! Literally, to attend, it is "a walk in the park".
