Brought To You By The Number 7: Furious & The Force
A successful movie is a wonderful accomplishment. The perfect blend of writing, production, direction and acting that makes the story come alive. For that film to grab an audience and leave them wanting more, is magic. For that movie to spawn SIX successful sequels, is almost unheard of. But, in the near future, not one, but two successful movie franchises will release the seventh installment in their bloodlines.
Furious 7 is the highly anticipated next installment of the Fast & Furious saga, set to take place after Fast & Furious 6. After defeating Owen Shaw and his crew, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and the rest of the crew (Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Lucas Black) are able to return to the United States and live the normal life again as they had wanted.
The very end of F & F 6 saw the introduction of Owen's older brother, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), who is after Dominic, seeking revenge for the death of his brother, putting the entire crew in danger once more. After learning of their co-hort Han's death, the crew sets out to find the man who killed one of their own, before he finds them first.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens (also known as Star Wars: Episode 7) stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker reprising roles from previous films. The story is set approximately 30 years after the events of 1983's Return of the Jedi.
Little is known beyond that of the storyline, as this is one of the most highly protected movies of all time. The first trailers hit in November and the production is not releasing any more information than what can be garnered in the trailers.
With these releases approaching us fast & furiously, it left me wondering which sequel will be the biggest force: Fast & Furious 7 or Star Wars: Episode 7?
Vote for the sequel you are more highly anticipating.
