The recently reformed Bush is set to hit the road this fall for a headlining U.S. tour with two other bands that made some big noise in the mid-to-late 1990s: Chevelle and Filter.

The 20-date tour begins in San Diego on Sept. 27 — 14 days after Bush’s new studio album, ‘The Sea of Memories,’ is released. But singer/guitarist Gavin Rossdale and the entire band will be plenty busy prior to the start of the fall tour. Their collective calendar includes Rossdale appearing on ‘Chelsea Lately’ (Sept. 21) and Bush rocking ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’ (Sept. 22).

Looking back on his music projects following Bush’s rather quiet breakup in the early 2000s, Rossdale says he “felt a bit off-kilter.”

“It all felt less powerful, and just less all around,” Rossdale adds. “As long as I make music, I’d much rather make it under the name Bush than my own.”

In addition to Rossdale, Bush’s current lineup includes guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Corey Britz and drummer Robin Goodridge.
