In a 'Parks & Recreation' Leslie Knope sorta way, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has partnered with Global Inheritance to enlist a fully "green" arcade. It not only runs on solar energy, but the games themselves are based on the premise of nature-saving missions -- like conserving electricity and taking public transportation instead of chomping on ghosts or hitting things with a mallet.

Visitors to the arcade can earn tokens that can be traded in for prizes, one of which is tickets to see Arcade Fire. How fitting.

Some of the activities in the revamped arcade games at Coachella include sharing carpool photos, using the energy seesaw to charge phones, showing off refillable water bottles and snapping pics of homemade compost piles.

The two-weekend fest resumes this afternoon and wraps up on Sunday in California.
