Wow! Faith No More are making a new album! Earlier this year, the band teased the possibility of new music, but now the band has officially revealed that they will release a new disc in April of 2015.

What more could you want in your life?! Faith No More returned from an 11-year hiatus in 2009 to start playing live shows again, yet there was no talk of a new album until now. Faith No More's most recent full-length, 'Album of the Year,' came out in 1997, so after what will be a wait of 18 years, fans will be gifted with a seventh album.

"We’ve always shared a chemistry between ourselves that’s unique to this band, but these past few years of touring together have made us aware that we not only play better as a unit, but we like the new stuff we’re coming up with,” explained Faith No More founder and bass player, Bill Gould, who also spoke with Rolling Stone in more detail. “So we’ve decided: we’re going to get busy in 2015…make an album we’re proud of, kick things up a notch, get out there and perform it and maybe even dedicate a little more focus to our fans in the States this time."

Faith No More are recording in an Oakland, Calif., studio with Gould handling production duties. The release will be Faith No More's first release on their newly-formed imprint, Reclamation Records, which will be distributed through vocalist Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings.

A limited edition 7-inch single of the new song 'Motherf---er will available on Record Store Day’s Black Friday event (Nov. 28), and will be digitally released on Dec. 9.

Get excited and stay tuned for future updates on Faith No More's next album!
