The Holidays. The one time of year that people will spend alot of their down time (if you have any) participating in social gatherings. Weather it is an office party or just some friends and family there is bound to be alcohol. Ranging from the basic beer and wine to straight up liquor. I have searched high and low to give you a unique way to approach the holiday party. Here are 5 different alcoholic drinks to have this Christmas. Cheers!

Canadian Moose Milk

This final drink I present to you is courtesy of my Canadian friends.  I first became aware of Moose Milk while on a NATO Navy Deployment in the 20th century.  Seems so long ago but is was actually 1992.  This is considered to mainly be a holiday drink for our neighbors to the north.  However, you can make this (if you dare) to be served any time of the year!

Ingredients:

  • Eggs – 12 (yokes only)
  • Canadian Whiskey 40 oz
  • Dark Rum 40 oz
  • Kahlua 5 oz
  • Maple Syrup 10 oz
  • Milk 40 oz
  • Heavy Whipping Cream 40 oz
  • Sugar 1 Cup

Method:

  • Beat yokes until fluffy and completely mixed
  • Add sugar until mixture gets thick
  • Stir in milk and liquor
  • Chill for a minimum of three hours but is best overnight
  • Whip cream until it is good and thick.  Don't use the canned whipped cream as it will go flat
  • Fold in the whip cream.  It will appear that it is going thin.
  • Chill for another hour or two.
  • Sprinkle with Nutmeg or Cinnamon to taste.
  • Most important keep cold.

A warning.  This drink will go down so smooth.  If you are going to consume do so standing up.
