The NBA’s second half begins today, but the biggest hardcourt matchup will be in the college ranks.

Top-ranked Indiana travels to East Lansing to battle fourth-ranked Michigan State in a mammoth Big 10 -- and top five -- showdown. The Hoosiers took down the Spartans, 75-70, at the end of January for MSU’s only loss in 2013. Both teams come in 11-2 in league play, tied for the top spot, but an Indiana win will give Tom Crean’s team a full-game lead and ownership of a tie-breaker over Tom Izzo's crew, while a Spartans victory puts them in control of their destiny, as both units are eyeing a deep March run in the tournament.
