The latest installment of our weekly series 'Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?' features the one and only Ice-T. The rapper, actor and Body Count frontman has quite the history, making this one of our most fascinating editions of 'Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?' yet.

In Part 1 of our segment with Ice-T, the legendary entertainer tells us about his early upbringing, including losing both his parents at a young age, his early affiliations with some gangs and some trouble he got into while serving in the military.

We won't go into too much detail here. You really have to see Ice-T tell it in his own words. So watch Part 1 of our 'Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?' segment with the Ice-T above, and stay tuned for Part 2 coming soon.

Ice-T's band Body Count recently unleashed their new album, 'Manslaughter,' available at iTunes, and you can catch the band on this summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Finally, don't miss Ice-T's hilarious cameo in the Arcade Sushi series '5x5' below:
