Man Makes Fireworks Vest, Instantly Regrets It

There's an old saying... Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I get it. Fireworks are a lot of fun. Just about anything considered dangerous is fun. This looks like it was a lot of fun for everyone watching.

The fuse of a firecracker burns hotter than fire. Meaning, the temperatures produced through chemistry are much hotter than those of pure flame. Flames are really hot. Fuses are hotter. Anyone who has ever done the whole 'light a black cat in my palm' trick knows this. How is this not common knowledge to all adults?

As you can see, it wasn't so much the exploding firecrackers that did him in... It was the hot fuse. And guessing by the burn marks, that melting wax paper couldn't have felt very well either.

I hope it goes without saying, you probably shouldn't try this... but if you do, bundle up. I'd recommend flame-proof wool or moist cotton at the least. Do not expect your pricey pretty fleece to save you... It's made of oil-refined plastic, and will most likely maim you with a lifelong trophy.

Before you cure your boredom, think about what you're doing... and film it. The rest of us enjoy watching.
