Motley Crue launched their North American tour with Poison and the New York Dolls on Tuesday night (June 7) in Dallas, and the highlight of the night just may have been Tommy Lee’s ridiculous roller-coaster drum solo.

Lee’s theatrics came in the middle of the Crue’s 90-minute set. The stickman and his kit revolved around a 360-degree vertical roller-coaster, all the while pounding away at his drums. At a couple of points, Lee was completely upside down.

But the real surprise came when he picked someone from the audience to ride around the circle with him. The fan, named Terry, strapped into the contraption behind Lee and went for the ride of his life. This time, the drummer, the fan and the kit went full circle in both directions!
