Claire Danes took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the 2013 Emmys this Sunday. Danes won the same honor during last year's Emmys, as well.

Prior to this announcement, 'Homeland' had already taken home the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, going to Henry Bromell, to whom Danes paid tribute during her acceptance speech. Bromwell, 65, tragically died of a heart attack in March of this year.

Competing against Danes were Vera Farmiga for ‘Bates Motel,' MIchelle Dockery for ‘Downton Abbey,' Robin Wright for ‘House of Cards,' Elizabeth Moss for ‘Mad Men,' Connie Britton for ‘Nashville,' and Kerry Washington for ‘Scandal.'

What'd you think? Was Danes your choice for the winner of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series? Sound off in the comments.
