There is no denying that the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Super Nintendo (SNES) and Sega Genesis were some of the greatest gaming consoles of all time. Some of my favorite titles are on the Super Nintendo - Final Fantasy III, Super Mario World, Chrono Trigger and Mega Man X just to name a few.Although I purchased an FC Twin a couple years ago (a console that allows you to play both NES and SNES games) there are a few games that have yet to return or get added to my collection.

I'm the kind of gamer that prefers to have the physical copies of discs or cartridges over downloading it over the internet sitting on a hard drive. Something about taking the cart or disc and putting it into the console to turn it on just feels awesome in my opinion. The closest thing I can probably relate it to is a book reader opening a brand new book and turning the pages for the first time, holding it in their hands clutching it as the story gets more intense with each page turn.

The website is called letsplaysnes.com and not only does it have SNES, it also has NES, Sega Genesis games and even Sega Master System games. There are even some homebrew games and Japanese imports as well. Of course, these Japanese import games are in the original Japanese and are not translated in anyway, but still it's awesome that this site has them.

Check it out and get lost in the gaming nostalgia.
