As reported yesterday, 3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell was freed from jail on $100,000 bond after being arrested over the weekend on the very serious charge of vehicular homicide. Now the Associated Press reports that Harrell checked into a rehab facility immediately upon his release.

3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell was released from a Tennessee jail yesterday (April 23) on a $100,000 bail bond, after his involvement in the fatal car crash in Nashville on Friday night (April 19).

After the recent arrest of 3 Doors Down bassist Todd Harrell, who was charged with vehicular homicide on April 19 in Nashville, resulting in the death of Paul Howard Shoulders, Jr., the band has canceled its upcoming spring U.S. tour dates.

3 Doors Down and Daughtry are having such a good time on their co-headlining tour run that they’ve extended it for a third leg. The newly revealed dates kick off at the beginning of July at the PNC Waterside Pavilion in Solomons, Md., and continue through the start of August, currently slated to wrap up in Cleveland, Ohio, at Jacobs Pavilion.

3 Doors Down and Daughtry, currently out on a co-headlining tour through the middle of December, have just announced a new leg of dates to ring in the new year. Fifteen new shows have been added to the tour with dates kicking off on Jan. 25 in Dallas and running through Feb. 23 in Clearwater, Fla.

3 Doors Down started off with a bang when their hit single ‘Kryptonite’ blew up back in 2000, creating a buzz for the band seemingly overnight. Their debut disc ‘The Better Life’ would go on to yield four hit singles and move more than 5 million copies, launching their career into an upward trajectory.

3 Doors Down are ramping up to the Nov. 19 release of their upcoming 'Greatest Hits' collection, and they've taken the time to reflect on the songs and videos that got them where they are today with a series of video vignettes. 3 Doors Down are gearing up to release their ‘The Greatest Hits’ collection on Nov. 19. The 'Best Of' compilation features nine of their number one hits throughout their massively successful career. In addition to the hits, the band crafted three new bonus tracks for fans to feast on, including 'One Light,' one of their most inspirational songs to date.

After recently announcing they will be releasing a greatest hits album on Nov. 19, 3 Doors Down have made the single 'One Light' available for free download. It's one of three new songs in the collection.

In conjunction with their upcoming greatest hits disc due out this November, 3 Doors Down will spend the majority of the winter months out on a run of co-headlining U.S. tour dates with Daughtry. The trek kicks off  on Nov. 17 in Tunica, Miss., and is scheduled to wrap on Dec. 15 in Anaheim, Calif.
