Clint Lowery

Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery is taking a step back from the road temporarily, but the band has moved quickly to fill the void, selecting Evanescence's Troy McLawhorn to sit in on guitar during Lowery's absence. The Sevendust rocker is taking the time away to be at home with his lovely wife Tara as they await the birth of their daughter. This will be the couple's second child. They wed in 2010

Sevendust have titled their upcoming album 'Black Out the Sun,' according to a recent interview with guitarist Clint Lowery. The band's upcoming ninth studio album is tentatively slated to drop in April 2013.

Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery must not be a fan of idle hands because he sure is a busy man these days. Other than his main gig as the guitarist in Sevendust, Lowery is also about to release a new album with his supergroup Dark New Day, and now, he’s working on another side project with Sevendust bandmate and drummer Morgan Rose.
