The 2013 Mayhem Festival may not arrive until late June, but four of the bands on the bill gave a great taste of what's to come at the Mayhem Festival press conference Monday (March 18) in Los Angeles. Headliners Rob Zombie and Five Finger Death Punch fielded questions, while up-and-coming acts Huntress and Butcher Babies took over the Whisky-a-Go-Go for an in-your-face performance.

As promised, the lineup for the 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tour was revealed today (March 18), and the headliners include Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch and Mastodon. The trek kicks off June 29 in San Bernardino, Calif., and runs through an Aug. 4 stop in Dallas.

Since its launch in 2008, the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival has quickly become one of top U.S. metal tours. Some of the biggest names in music have headlined the fest in the past, including Motorhead, Slayer and Slipknot in 2012. A longtime representative for Ibanez guitars may have accidentally confirmed that Slipknot will be headlining the 2012 Rockstar Mayhem Festival this year. The official lineup is supposed to be revealed tomorrow (Jan. 25), but it looks like we may have gotten a sneak peak a little early.
