Just before they head to Europe for a series of shows and festivals across the pond, Hatebreed have announced a North American tour with Shadows Fall, the Acacia Strain and Battlecross that launches in September. The first batch of dates are below, with more to be announced.
Brian Fair of Shadows Fall is known as an energetic vocalist and performer onstage but he’s about to step into the role of new father as he and his wife are gearing up to be parents for the first time.
Shadows Fall had been set for a big spring overseas. The band had booked dates with Testament in Europe and Ill Nino in the UK, but now they've bowed out of both of those tours.
Anthrax have not named a full-time replacement yet for exiting guitarist Rob Caggiano, but they will at least be covered for their upcoming tours. The band revealed that Shadows Fall guitarist Jon Donais will sit in with the band for their upcoming Fly Festival dates in India, the Soundwave Festival shows in a Australia and the group's headlining slot on the Metal Alliance trek in North America.

Hatebreed's new album, 'The Divinity of Purpose,' will be released Jan. 25 in Europe and Jan. 29 in the United States, and now the band has announced a headlining U.S. tour kicking off in late January.
Shadows Fall drummer Jason Bittner will be unable to perform at the 2012 PASIC (Percussive Arts Society International Convention) due to a diagnosis of acute pancreatitis. The band is currently on a short break from their headlining tour with God Forbid, Thy Will Be Done and Trumpet the Harlot, but Bittner assures fans that he will return to the road.
