Wouldn't you rather kick off the new year in the fun and sun of a beach resort enjoying some great music rather than braving the frigid cold of January in most parts of the world? Then Taking Back Sunday have the perfect event for your, announcing their inaugural Island Adventure Fun Time Jamboree!

The destination event finds the band, along with newly announced participants Frank Iero and the Patience, heading to the Jewel Paradise Cover Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica during a five-day, four-night adventure. The Island Adventure Fun Time Jamboree is set to take place Jan. 4-8, providing fans with a wide array of entertainment.

“We’re very excited to be doing our first destination event, we’ve never done anything like this,” explains guitarist John Nolan, who actually came up with the name for the event. “Doing it in a tropical location and being able to bring our families out will be great. We really hope that folks are excited about the idea as we are.”

Both Taking Back Sunday and Frank Iero and the Patience will play three electric performances and one acoustic set over the five days. Special events include a poster signing and meet and greet with Taking Back Sunday, a fun time karaoke contest with Taking Back Sunday, a Q&A session with Frank Iero, plus special Jamboree merch including a t-shirt, beach towel, tote bag and poster.
