In a time when people are stuffing 6.4L 392 Hemi V8's into their Jeeps, this guy converted his over to electric, and it sounds wild.

I mean, it's a novel idea to stuff a couple of electric motors into a Jeep, but that doesn't seem like that's where we're with that technology. Electric motors are known for good torque, but also getting up to go fast really quick... ie - the complete opposite of a Jeep.

Given, this is just a first workable attempt, and like any other technology, it will get better and more refined with time. Not so much looking for faster spooling, but more consistent low end torque... Then, with a new solar technology, and the promise of super-quick charging aluminum battery tech, we could see the Jeep being a perfect electric vehicle one day. A truly eco-friendly quiet, powerful, go anywhere, do anything platform.

Now, to fix that whining electric motor noise...
