They say that people normally go a little wild during the full moon cycle, and when a full moon hits during a crazy heatwave, people apparently go a little crazier.

One listener was making his way across Lawton when he stumbled onto this wild scene of a dude hitching a ride on the back of a FedEx truck out on 67th Street.

On the face of it, it's super out of place for a regular old Thursday in Lawton-Fort Sill, but the tale gets a little more intriguing.

I suppose a person could always jump to the conclusion that this guy may have been a FedEx helper just trying his best to be a team player, but as the listener got closer, it became apparent when he saw the hitchhiker carrying a big 'ol knife in his teeth!

An absolute legend.

Unfortunately, the tale ends there. There aren't any other details as to where the story goes from there. Since the scanner was abnormally quiet in the hour or so after this happened, we take it that the guy got to wherever he was going without incident.

Oklahoma is well known for having some of the most dangerous and deadly wild animals to be found anywhere in the United States. The Sooner State is home to several species of wild animals that could quickly and easily harm or kill you. Check Out Oklahoma's Planned New Theme Park

American Heartland Theme Park is the latest huge investment announcement for the Sooner State. Slated to open in 2026 up in Vinita, it sure does look incredible from the renderings. With the project spearheaded by 20+ former Disney Imagineers, we'd expect nothing less than spectacular.
