US House of Reps Pass the ‘Asteroid Mining’ Bill [Not Kidding]

As if you didn't think our politicians weren't wasting a ton of time and money in DC, here comes a bill that literally allows space asteroids to be mined for resources.

I'm torn with two different thoughts... Either our representatives are completely wasting our time when we put them to work in the last election... Or they are doing so little that the stupid true-stories like this is peeking on slow news days. Both thoughts make me think "Why did we hire you?"

On the other hand, this could mean "Star Wars" was a future documentary...
