Well, it’s almost that time of year again. If you haven’t done so already, now is the time to start the, “I gotta lose 20lbs before summer” count down. It’s not too late, but if you haven’t started working on your beach body yet, you’re already kinda late in the game.
Several students from the Communication Department at Cameron University were honored last week at the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association 2015 Student Media Competition. The event took place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
When I first found out I was moving to Oklahoma, I’ll admit, I was terrified. I knew nothing about the state, the people or this town. I did however, possess the various stereotypes about said topics (insert inappropriate but arguable, backwoods-country, buckle-of-the-Bible-Belt joke here).
This election year is turning out to be a very interesting one, to say the least. From shrewdly telling it like it is to the ushering in of a “political revolution”, the platforms of each candidate are hard hitting and about as diverse as they come.

Cameron University held a free Easter egg hunt for any kids that attended the softball games last Tuesday, March 31. Students involved in SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) dispersed colorful Easter eggs across the outfield after the games ended.
