Infinity Ward, the game developers behind Call of Duty: Ghosts, just released a video today (10-28-13) detailing their new (1-4) player cooperative game mode 'Extinction'. This new game mode will loosely resemble Treyarch's 'Zombies' from Black ops in that players must destroy waves and waves of monstrous creatures and try to survive as long as possible. 'Extinction' might replace the standard 'Survival' mode from previous Infinity Ward COD titles.

I prefer zombies over standard survival modes and I think 'Extinction' will certainly add to Infinity Ward's new offering Call of Duty: Ghosts by giving players something a little different. It's good to take a break from multi-player every once in a while and spend some time blasting away hordes of monsters, plus you can really build up your skills as a player. While I did enjoy the 'Survival' mode from MW3 (Modern Warfare 3) this looks like it will be a lot more fun vs. just regular enemies. There's just something about blowing away zombies or monsters that I find incredibly satisfying!

The new game Call of Duty: Ghosts will be out Tuesday, November 5th (11-05-13) So we're jusy days away now. Looking forward to it and our Ghosts gaming tournament for Xbox 360 on (11-16-13) Click here for all the details!

Check out the new video for Call of Duty: Ghosts 'Extinction' and prepare for war!
