Yesterday (01-12-21) Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt announced a change to the state's official COVID-19 quarantine policy for schools. Well it's officially the end of an era for Eisenhower Middle School here in Lawton. The Vikings have a new home and the old school is being torn down. Over the next several weeks construction crews will be doing demolition and hauling off all the debris.

Yesterday afternoon (10-13-20) the Lawton City Council voted to keep the mandatory mask ordinance in effect until mid January of 2021. That will be the earliest or next time the members will review the ordinance to amend or remove it.
