Oklahoma lawmakers are looking to pass legislation that would make the nocturnal/night hunting of coyotes legal without a permit within the state. House Bill (HB-4281) would change the current Oklahoma laws regarding hunting coyotes at night without special permitting and permission from state game wardens.

If you haven't heard the news yet all of Comanche County, OK. is currently under a burn ban. The Comanche County Board of Commissioners met Monday and voted to enact a burn ban which will remain in effect for the next 2 weeks or until ground conditions improve and the high fire danger/risk lessens.

Twice a year we have the same complaints and conversations about daylight savings time. Most of us agree that it's a stupid practice and we should stop doing it. Let's pick a time and stick with it, enough with all the clock changes already.

If you haven't heard the news yet Pfizer just came out and suggested another round of booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccine. Over the weekend they announced that they would be seeking the FDA's approval for what will be the 4th shot or booster.

Ukraine would love to have Oklahomans join in the fight! Think about it, who wouldn't want a bunch of well-armed Okies on their side? Well, we could be seeing our fellow Oklahomans volunteer into Ukraine's military. A new bill if passed would allow U.S. citizens the legal opportunity to fight for other Nations if they choose.

As prices at the pump continue to rise a lot of Oklahomans are concerned about price gouging and if gas stations across the state are guilty of taking advantage of recent events to line their own pockets.

The visitor's center in the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refugee is officially back open! It's been closed for a little over 2 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic but has just reopened to the public.

Within the next year, Oklahoma's abortion laws could be radically changed to the point that they will be outlawed by the end of 2022. Texas has already passed some of the most restrictive abortion laws in the Nation. It's basically outlawed and Oklahoma is working towards the same thing.

The annual Lawton, Fort Sill Armed Forces Day parade returns on Saturday, May 21st (05-21-22). The Lawton, Fort SIll Chamber of Commerce along with the Lawton, Fort Sill Convention & Visitors Bureau just officially announced the parade for 2022.

Oklahoma will soon be getting a new electric vehicle manufacturer that will bring thousands of new job opportunities to the Sooner State. They'll be setting up operation centers in Tulsa, OK. and building a new plant/factory in Pryor, OK. at the "MidAmerica Industrial Park."
