In Fall 2015, we made it a point to get out to the wildlife refuge, at least once a week, to catch the turning leaves. A change that happened late, and very fast.
Wichita Mountains Fall Foliage is Slowly Slipping
Hopefully you were able to get out to the mountains last week, as the Fall foliage is now starting to mute. As you can see, the vibrant reds and oranges are fading into their normal brown, and a lot of that foliage has fallen in the recent storms.
