This guy makes some pretty good points on why he refuses to purchase the new Star Wars Battlefront video game. It seems that every game these days has additional content, or D.L.C. (Downloadable Content) to be purchased throughout the year.

So what's the big deal? Well the core game runs you about $60.00 then developers and gaming companies hit you for another $50.00 for a season pass to buy additional content to be used in game. Most times you can buy these add ons individually, or buy a season pass to get them all and save a few bucks. It's a rip off in that the game on release is incomplete and in order to get the full experience and game you must purchase additional content. I have to say Jeremy Jahns has me thinking!
