If you didn't make the trip, you missed out BIG TIME! The evening kicked off with Hell or Highwater and their unique Southern rock, blues, metal and hard rock blend of 'Party Rock'. It didn't take long to whip the crowd into a frenzy! That was the first time I've seen them, hopefully not the last. Next up was Otherwise who delivered an electrifying set that included fan favorites 'Soldier' and their new single 'I Don't Apologize'. This band sounds every bit as good on stage as they do on disk. Another Las Vegas band made an appearance last Friday night, Escape The Fate followed with piss and vinegar to spare. Another first for me and I'm looking forward to seeing them again, as well as Otherwise at this year's Rocklahoma.

In This Moment and the lovely Maria Brink leveled the stage and set the pace and standard for all those who would follow that night. I've seen In This Moment several times, I'll have to say the current line up is by far the strongest. Without a doubt their performance last Friday night was the best I've seen to date. Papa Roach was next and didn't disappoint, with a great mix of both old and new they kept the crowd going in a big sing-a-long that included 'Last Resort' and even their new single 'Where Did The Angles Go'.

The evening's headliner Stone Sour put the finishing touches on what was left of the stage Friday night. Out on the road in support of the new album 'House of Gold and Bones Part 2' they also played a great mix of older material and new stuff. PLUS we got to see them perform 'Get Inside' live for the first time, or for the first time in a very long time! It was good to see Corey and the guys again, they really gave the fans their monies worth.
