Former Sepultura and current Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera has always been an outspoken musician, especially when it comes to his sonic projects. Cavalera was recently interviewed to promote Soulfly's upcoming album 'Savages,' but when asked about Sepultura's next album, Cavalera offered some very sharp criticism.
As Soulfly near the finish line to the release of their new disc ‘Savages,’ the band has unveiled the album artwork, track listing, and most recently shared a lyric video for the record's first single, 'Bloodshed.'
It may be hard to believe, but Max Cavalera has been in Soulfly longer than he was in Sepultura. Soulfly are hard at work on their ninth studio album, and have released a video documenting its progress. (watch above). It shows the band in the studio and features brief snippets of new music.
Director Thomas Mignone has worked with a number of rockers over the years and now several of them are lining up to help the video auteur with his upcoming feature film project. Mignone is overseeing a biopic on '70s and '80s porn star Vanessa Del Rio, with Soulfly's Max Cavalera recently signing on to work on music for the movie, while Glenn Danzig has agreed to take on a role in the film.
