Uncle Critter’s Thoughts On Alabama’s Rabid Fans

Let's begin this with one thought; hockey is the only real sport out there. That being said, what the hell is wrong with people? By now, you've probably seen the video of the bat-crap crazy Alabama Crimson Tide lady-fan going full contact in the stands of the Sugar Bowl.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good fight in any sport, but this is a little over the line. I commend that little lady for having the ovarian fortitude (blood alcohol level) to go after such a proclaimed enemy, but it's just not the venue for it. These are not pro-level sports. There is nothing on the line when a bunch of college pukes are out playing for an education and sport.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time a crazy 'Bama fan has gone full retard due to a poor Crimson Tide performance. A different UA fan shot and killed another after their loss to Auburn a few weeks ago. That story also here!

I just don't get it, and it has nothing to do with me not being the biggest football fan in the world...I've been to a lot of sporting events in my years. Little league parents are probably the most ruthless, but the events that have portrayed this year are abysmal. Maybe it's a 'heat of the moment' weakness some fans suffer... Maybe it's the meth problems that plague Alabama. Whatever it is, it's pretty damn disgraceful. Leave the fighting where it belongs, on the ice in the swinging fists of the professionals.
