For all of Microsoft’s missteps with the Xbox One, one thing they got right was the controller. While players may hate the user interface and lament the lack of major titles on the console, most gamers agree that the new Xbox One controller is a well-designed, high-quality instrument. Today, Microsoft unveiled the new Xbox One Special Edition Armed Forces Wireless Controller, which will release this fall alongside a similarly themed stereo headset.

Microsoft is calling the Xbox One Special Edition Armed Forces Wireless Controller and Stereo Headset the first set of custom accessories for the Xbox One, though the Titanfall special edition controller may have an issue with that claim. Featuring a camouflage pattern, the new controller will function like a standard black controller, but will be harder to find if you tend to play your new-gen consoles in the woods. The stereo headset will allow players to adjust in-game and chat audio levels separately without taking their hands off of the controller.

Both military-themed accessories are available for pre-order today, and will launch in October. The controller will set players back $64.99, while the headset is priced at $89.99. Microsoft’s previous console, the Xbox 360, eventually saw the release of controllers in dozens of colors and patterns, so we can expect more custom accessories for the Xbox One at some point in the future.
