Bike Base Jump Goes Horribly Wrong! [VIDEO]

This guy is lucky to be alive after a failed base jumping attempt. I guess the people filming never thought to stop him or mention the fact this is a really, really bad ideal. He jumped his bike off the side of a mountain and attempted to open a parachute, attempted to open!

As a kid growing up I jumped just about everything and anything with wheels from Big Wheels, skateboards, bicycles to motorcycles. Hell I even tried the parachute ideal myself despite Mom's warnings. I just had to try it out, usually EPIC FAILURE and great bodily harm followed.

I learned my lesson, I guess this guy is hard headed! Most people grow out of the "Let's jump stuff off high places with parachute" thing, but there's always 1 or 2 who keep trying. Who knows, maybe next time he'll make it. I doubt it!
