While I'm sure alcohol was involved, after all no sober, sane person thinks it's a good ideal to light an artillery shell in your garage with all the doors shut and locked. Fireworks are as much a part of July Fourth as barbecues, parades and red, white and blue, but have you ever stopped to think what makes them flare up in the first place?
