It's National Library Week so why not celebrate with a trip to the Lawton Public Library located in down town Lawton at 110 S.W. 4th Street. They have all kinds of great events, activities and of course books for you to check out all week long, actually all month long. If it's been awhile since you've been, or maybe you've never visited our library now would be the perfect time to go. Now that things are finally starting to improve with the COVID-19 pandemic the library has resumed scheduling some of their events and activities. It's great to see it open again and with so many cool things happening not just this week, but all month long.

They recently announced their annual Friends of the Lawton Public Library Book Sale coming up Thursday, April 15th (04-15-21) through Sunday, April 18th (04-18-21) at the Central Mall in down town Lawton at 210 S.W. C Avenue. It'll be set up on the East side of the mall next to Rue21. A lot of the book clubs will start meeting once again at the library starting this month including: Page Turner's Fiction Book Club, Cover-To-Cover Book Club, Bibles! Bibles! Bibles! along with several children's reading events and story-time get togethers. They even have craft nights and projects that the entire family can get in on.

There's all kinds of things to do at the Lawton Public Library in celebration of National Library Week. You can even sign up for the "What to Read Next" book list. Just fill out the form and it will provide you a reading list with some suggested authors and titles. You'll definitely want to stop in for one, or two of the special events they have planned for this week and throughout the month.
